I was upset with the score I received during this exam. While taking the exam I wasn’t feeling the best and I wish I could have retaken it on a day where I was feeling myself. with that said after remediating and looking back at the chapters everything I got wrong I had known the material I just didn’t test well.

ATI practice comp B

I took a nice break with this quiz which I believe helped me collect my thoughts and score decently. Moreover, I think that by utilizing these practice tests I am more comfortable with answering questions or trying to rationalize why an answer would be correct or more suitable than another. After completing the remediations I feel more confident with the material as well.

I felt pretty confident with this exam and when I was reviewing my answers I was able to logically see why the questions I answered wrong were wrong. I spent too long on a majority of questions which I think I need to work on bettering, but overall barely changed any of my answers. I believe I only changed one answer which ended up being wrong. Furthermore, now I know was content to look over again.

I performed pretty well on this exam. I was able to really focus by taking some breaks in between since it was a long exam. With that said, I felt pretty confident with my knowledge and paid attention to reading each question fully along with each answer. After completing this exam It helped guide me into certain content that I need to touch up on. Furthermore, I have noticed as I have continued to take more exams I have become more confident when answering. I know that it is important to continue practicing answering questions since a lot of times I answer incorrectly based on not reading a question fully.

I completed this ATI scoring in the Level 2 category which I feel pretty good about. I was nervous to take this exam since sometimes I struggle with pharmacology but felt that it went well and I was surprised with the knowledge I had. Moreover, the way I answered the questions was by looking for the best possible answer. With that said, I believe the practice exams really helped me score well on this exam.

Attaining and Protecting Your Professional Nursing License

As of now I haven’t thought fully on which state I plan on attaining my license since my focus has been mostly on finishing the year and passing my classes. As of now I am leaning towards Maine, because it is supported with a numerous amount of states over Massachusetts. With that said, Maine is a compact state allowing nurses to live in another state and still being able to work In Maine which is beneficial for me since I don’t know where I want to live yet as well.

In order to obtain a valid license you can do an online application and must complete the application by uploading a photo and signature. furthermore, submit a school seal and administrator signature and court documents with detailed explanations. This state also requires criminal backgrounding and fingerprinting. I know I will need to continue to research the application process and try and find a time to sit down and really think about my future and where I want to start. Making these big decisions can cause anxiety and stress, so I tend to try and focus mostly on my schoolwork rather than the where I meant end up after graduation. In order to do the criminal background check you can go online and select wanting to obtain a background check and follow the instructions for finger printing. Results are only valid for ninety days so it’s important to obtain the check in a relative timely manner with your application.

Disciplinary actions and violation of the law means an investigation of all complaints are required such as; patients or family member, employers, co-workers, NBDP, and other state boards. The Maine health security act requires report to the specific health care providers board if employment is terminated, registration in lieu of termination during an investigation, and suspension of privileges to practice. The process of a complaint is a notice of complaint being sent to the licensee within sixty days of obtaining and nurses are required to respond in writing within thirty days. Moving forward the complaint can be either dismissed, non-disciplinary actions can occur and violation of NPA.

Some of the most commonly occurring legal issues that impact nursing and the practice relate to informed consent and refusing treatment, license, malpractice, negligence, mandatory reporting, abuse and unsafe practices. In order to protect myself and the ones I am treating for I need to make sure I am following both state laws and hospital policies. I also need to ensure I am taking the precautions when needed and filing all required documents to prevent future problems. In conclusion, I am going to have to be up to date with the policies and laws as well as what is to be done if something is ever needed.

ATI pharmacology B

With this exam I was able to focus more attentively and with that I was able to perform better. Even though I noticed myself switching a few answers to the wrong answer I have cut down on the amount of answers I change. Furthermore, I have spent more time making sure I chose the correct answer before I hit next which is an improvement. There was one question where I chose the wrong answer by accident but after that occurred I was able to double check each submission before moving on.

ATI pharmacology A

While taking this exam I felt more confident when answering questions. I recently had reviewed important medications for a prior exam for a class so the information was still in my head. Even though I felt more confident taking this exam I still noticed myself getting distracted easily and noticed my mind wandering. Taking exams has been more challenging with the school year ending since the stress of transitioning into the world outside of the school life has been overwhelming. With that said I think it is important for me to do some meditating before taking an exam to declutter my mind and allow all my focus to be on the exam.

ATI caring for children adaptive

With this ATI I felt more confident answering the questions since I just finished my pediatric course but I still realized some testing taking skills I need to work on such as reading the questions thoroughly and making sure I don’t change my answers. Moving forward I also know what topics I need to touch up on before the NCLEX.

ATI adult med-surg adaptive

With this ATI I was able to see what topics I need to look over, pathophysiology, interventions and other key nursing roles that I will need to know for the future. with his exam I didn’t change my answers but I continued to forget to read all the words and even chose the wrong answer a few times because I didn’t double check my answer before continuing on to the next question.
