In my showcase project, the social media piece, I also demonstrated a growth in MLA formatting, and grammatical errors. The little seagull and they say I say books really helped in aiding my growth as a writer. I was able to look  up the exact way to do in-text citations and citing on the literature cited page. Here is an example of one of my in-text citations; “Individuals with low self-esteem perceive Facebook as safe, appealing place for self-disclosure, and they spend as much or more time using Facebook than people with high self-esteem” (Greenfield pg 119). Moreover, here is an example of a citation;

Christopherson, K. M. (2007). The positive and negative implications of anatomy in Internet social interactions: “On the Internet, nobody knows you’re a dog.” Computers in Human Behavior 23, no. 6, 3038-3056.

I touched up on my skills with citations, and became more enhanced in my knowledge. It’s important to make sure you properly cite, because it’s crucial for your paper so you don’t get accused of plagiarism. Moreover, it’s important to learn how to cite, because it is used in multiple papers, and multiple classes.
